BEWARE: As per the best Scriptural and extra-biblical information, our Messiah, his disciples and all followers of The Way were vegetarians or Vegans until Emperor Constantine issued his edicts around 306-327 A.D.
I know our heavenly Father and our Messiah hate sacrifice, killing and flesh eaters. As you study below it will become obvious that the Hebrews, the Christian church and most other people have been disobedient for a long time! What happened to the disobedient people in Noah's day? They DROWNED!
The following verses, found from cover to cover in the Scriptures, reveal that our Creator's true character is vegetarian or Vegan and He never intended for mankind to sacrifice or kill and eat animals. You will also find articles from extra biblical sources whose authors have come to the conclusion that our Creator’s character never did and never will condone the slaughter and eating of His creatures. Partaking of animal flesh is a very dangerous path to follow. It is better to follow the ancient path of our Vegan Messiah.
Consider this: Our Creator did not instruct the Israelites to hunt, fish, cook or cure animal flesh for their long journey out of Egypt. Instead, he provided Manna! What happened to the Hebrews who begged for and insisted on animal flesh? They DIED and were buried on the spot!

Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 3:19 (TS2009)
For the event of the sons of men is also the event of beasts – one event befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Indeed, they all have one breath – man has no advantage over beasts...

The First Covenant
Genesis
1:29 And Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food.
1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is life, every green plant is for food.” And it came to be so.
1:31 And Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day.
Numbers
11:18 And say thou unto the people, sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of Yahuah, saying, who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore, Yahuah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
11:19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
11:20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised Yahuah which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
11:31 And there went forth a wind from Yahuah, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of Yahuah was kindled against the people, and Yahuah smote the people with a very great plague.
11:34 And he called the name of that place Kibroth-Hatt Aavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
11:35 And the people journeyed from Kibroth-Hatt Aavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

5:24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
5:25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your elohim, which ye made to yourselves.
5:27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith Yahuah, whose name is The Elohim of hosts.

INSIGHT
Animal sacrifice is Idolatry!
Yahuah did not want Israel to have a king and did not want animal sacrifice. They rebelled and did sacrifice animals and they rebelled and asked for a king. They were allowed to do both but both were not requested by Yahuah. Should they have had a king over them? NO!
Should they sacrifice animals? NO! Animal sacrifice is idolatry!
----------------------------------------
1 Samuel
8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
8:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto Yahuah.
8:7 And Yahuah said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
8:8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other elohim, so do they also unto thee.
15:22 And Samuel said, Hath Yahuah as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahuah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of Yahuah, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
Psalms
5:4 For thou art not an El that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
5:6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: Yahuah will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
6:9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am Elohim, even thy Elohim.
50:8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
50:9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
50:11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
50:14 Offer unto Elohim thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
50:23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of Elohim!
51:14 Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O Elohim, thou Elohim of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
51:15 O Yahuah, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
51:17 The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, thou wilt not despise.
69:30 I will praise the name of Elohim with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
69:31 This also shall please Yahuah better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
141:3 Set a watch, O Yahuah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
141:4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Proverbs
2:28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
6:16 These six things doth Yahuah hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
15:17 Better is a meal of vegetables where love is, Than a fatted calf with hatred.
23:20 Be not among heavy drinkers of wine or with gluttonous eaters of meat;
12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
12:6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
23:3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
23:8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up and lose thy sweet words.
23:9 Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
Ecclesiastes
3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of Elohim, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
9:12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
Micah
3:9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
3:10 They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
3:11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon Yahuah, and say, Is not Yahuah among us? none evil can come upon us.
3:12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
6:6 Wherewith shall I come before Yahuah, and bow myself before the high Elohim? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
6:7 Will Yahuah be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahuah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?
Isaiah
1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith YHWH: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
1:12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me;
1:14 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith Yahuah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of Yahuah hath spoken it.
11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea.
22:13 but they engaged in joy and gladness, slaying calves, and killing sheep, so as to eat flesh, and drink wine; saying, let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die.
22:14 And these things are revealed in the ears of the Lord of hosts: for this sin shall not be forgiven you, until ye die.
59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make hast to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
66:4 I also will choose their delusions and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes and chose that in which I delighted not.
66:5 Hear the word of Yahuah, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let Yahuah be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
1 Kings
8:62 And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before Yahuah.
8:63 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto Yahuah, two and twenty thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of Yahuah.
11:6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yahuah, and went not fully after Yahuah, as did David his father.
11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
1:8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their Elohim. Jeroboam's Golden Calves
12:25 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.
12:26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:
12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of Yahuah at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their master, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.
1Ki 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy Elohim, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
1Ki 12:29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
12:30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
12:31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.
12:32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
12:33 So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar and burnt incense.
Hosea
Hos 8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
Hos 8:13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but YHWH accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
Hos 8:14 For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
9:1 Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy Elohim, thou hast loved a reward upon every corn floor.
9:2 The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.
9:3 They shall not dwell in Yahuah's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
9:4 They shall not offer wine offerings to Yahuah, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of YHWH.
9:5 What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of Yahuah?
11:2 As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
13:1 When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
13:2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the ways of Yahuah are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Amos
5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of Yahuah! To what end is it for you? The day of YHWH is darkness, and not light.
5:19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
5:20 Shall not the day of Yahuah be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?
5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
5:22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
5:27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith YHWH, whose name is The Elohim of hosts.
Jeremiah
2:34 Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
7:6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other elohim to your hurt:
7:7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
7:8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
7:9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other elohim whom ye know not;
Jer 7:21 Thus saith Yahuah of hosts, the Elohim of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices and eat flesh.

Animal Sacrifice in Judaism comes from Egypt.
Animal sacrifice came from their time in Egypt. They created a golden calf and said it was Yahuah who brought them out of Egypt, and they sacrificed to it. Killing animals is not good. Food is what they ate in the garden of Eden. Plants. Search Google for any of the following: James the Just was a vegetarian, Peter was a vegetarian, John the Baptist was a vegetarian, John the apostle was a vegetarian. The Messiah taught these men that animal sacrifice is wrong. There will be no more death. One chapter later YHWH tells us why the Scriptures are full of animal sacrifice. The lying scribes added it.

Jeremiah
8:8 How do ye say, we are wise, and the law of Yahuah is with us? Lo, certainly the lying pen of the scribes hath made it falsehood.
1 Samuel
15:22 And Samuel said, Hath Yahuah as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahuah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of Yahuah, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
-----------------------------
Killing and eating flesh is not Yahuah's plan for us. It was not in the garden of Eden with Adam, and it will not be in the coming eternal kingdom which will be back in the garden. No death... otherwise it would not be eternal life, now, would it?

THE SECOND COVENANT
Matthew
12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
12:8 For the Son of man is master even of the Sabbath day.
Luke
6:9 Then said Yahushua unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before YHWH?
12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
John
I Am the Good Shepherd
10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
10:5 And a stranger will they not follow but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
10:6 This parable spake Yahushua unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
10:7 Then said Yahushua unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Stephen’s Speech
7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us mighty ones to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
7:41 And they made a calf in those days and offered sacrifice unto the idol and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
7:42 Then Elohim turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
7:51 Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.
7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels and have not kept it.
Revelation
1:4 And YHWH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

EXTRA BIBLICAL SOURCES
Many people, including church historians, have written about vegetarianism or Veganism of the church. They have written about the necessity of discontinuing sacrifices. Some of these writings are disputed by critics. There are Biblical figures that were vegetarian and these include, Adam, Enoch, Daniel, James the Brother of Messiah and all of the Twelve Apostles (according to early church historians Hegissipus and Eusebius).
THE GOSPEL OF THE HOLY TWELVE
This manuscript is claimed to be the reincarnation of the ancient Gospel of the Hebrews, the original Gospel of Matthew mentioned by Jerome and other early church fathers. This manuscript, which Rev. Gideon Ouseley discovered in 1881, is considered by us to be close to, if not identical with, the original Gospel used by ancient New Testament Essenes. It is the position of the Essene Nazarian Church that this, and other important Essene writings, were systematically removed from common circulation when gentile Christians gained dominance over the Hebrew saints in the early fourth century AD. Learned men, so called Correctors were, following the church meeting at Nicea 325 AD, selected by the church authorities to scrutinize the sacred texts and rewrite them in order to correct their meaning in accordance with the views which the church had just sanctioned.
Archdeacon Wilberforce of Westminster said, "that after the Council of Nicea, AD 325, the MSS. of the New Testament were considerably tampered with."
Professor Nestle in his "introduction to the Textual Criticism of the Greek Testament" tells us that certain scholars, called correctors, were appointed by the ecclesiastical authorities, and actually commissioned to correct the text of Scripture in the interest of what was considered ORTHODOXY.
Edmond Szekely says that the words of Messiah became half forgotten and were not collected until some generations after they were uttered, that they have been misunderstood, wrongly annotated and many times re-written and transformed. Indeed, the whole truth about the life and work of the Messiah, he says, has been suppressed and His story falsified and adulterated by ecclesiastical history.
Lection XXVIII Yeshua Releases the Rabbits and Pigeons
5. Let these creatures therefore go free, that they may rejoice in God and bring no guilt to man. And the young man set them free, and Yeshua break their cages and their bonds.
8. He also said, I am come to end the sacrifices and feasts of blood, and if ye cease not offering and eating of flesh and blood, the wrath of God shall not cease from you, even as it came to your fathers in the wilderness, who lusted for flesh, and they eat to their content, and were filled with rottenness, and the plague consumed them.
Lection XXIX He Feedeth Five Thousand with Six Loaves & Seven Clusters of Grapes.
Lection LXXI The Cleansing of the temple
1. AND the Jews’ Passover was at hand, and Yeshua went up again from Bethany into Jerusalem. And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
2. And when he had made a scourge of seven cords, he drove them all out of the temple and loosed the sheep and the oxen, and the doves, and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables.
3. And said unto them, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s House an House of merchandise. Is it not written, My House is a House of prayer, for all nations? but ye have made it a den of thieves, and filled it with all manner of abominations.
9. Verily I say unto you, for this end have I come into the world, that I may put away all blood offerings and the eating of the flesh of the beasts and the birds that are slain by men.
Lection XXXVIII Yeshua Condemned the Ill Treatment of Animals
1. AND some of his disciples came and told him of a certain Egyptian, a son of Belial, who taught that it was lawful to torment animals, if their sufferings brought any profit to men.
2. And Yeshua said unto them, Verily I say unto you, they who partake of benefits which are gotten by wronging one of God's creatures, cannot be righteous: nor can they touch holy things, or teach the mysteries of the kingdom, whose hands are stained with blood, or whose mouths are defiled with flesh.
THE CLEMENTINE HOMILIES
Chapter XLII
Then Peter: "Whatever sayings of the Scriptures are in harmony with the creation that was made by Him are true, but whatever are contrary to it are false."
And to those who supposed that God is pleased with sacrifices. He said, ' God wishes mercy, and not sacrifices ' the knowledge of Himself, and not holocausts.
3.45 But that He is not pleased with sacrifices, is shown by this, that those who lusted after flesh were slain as soon as they tasted it, and were consigned to a tomb, so that it was called the grave of lusts.
8.20 Having charged them to this effect, the messenger departed. But you are still ignorant of this law, that everyone who worships demons, or sacrifices to them, or partakes with them of their table, shall become subject to them and receive all punishment from them, as being under wicked masters. And you who, on account of ignorance of this law, have been corrupted beside their altars, and have been satisfied with food offered to them, have come under their power, and do not know how you have been in every way injured in respect of your bodies.
RECOGNITIONS OF CLEMENT
Chap. xxxvi.—Allowance of sacrifice for a time. "When meantime Moses, that faithful and wise steward, perceived that the vice of sacrificing to idols had been deeply ingrained into the people from their association with the Egyptians, and that the root of this evil could not be extracted from them, he allowed them indeed to sacrifice, but permitted it to be done only to God, that by any means he might cut off one half of the deeply ingrained evil, leaving the other half to be corrected by another,
Chap. xxxvii.—The holy place. "In addition to these things, he also appointed a place in which alone it should be lawful to them to sacrifice to God.
[15] And all this was arranged with this view, that when the fitting time should come, and they should learn by means of the Prophet that God desires mercy and not sacrifice.
1.39.1 Thus when the time came near for the needed correction of what was lacking, the fitting time arrived in which that prophet who had been proclaimed beforehand by Moshe was revealed. At his coming, because of the mercy of Yahuah he first warned them to cease and desist from sacrificing.
(2) But lest they suppose within themselves that they were being deprived of the forgiveness of their sins through sacrifices, and this be troublesome for them, he appointed baptism by water for the forgiveness of sins. It was shown to them that it truly gives the forgiveness of sins and is able to preserve those who are perfect unto eternal life.

KEITH AKERS. THE LOST RELIGION OF JESUS
Of the conflict between Jesus and the temple hierarchy. They have the curious effect of saying that what Jesus was attacking actually had nothing to do with the temple. What Jesus was really doing was attacking hypocrisy or making a symbolic gesture. The Jewish Christian texts present something much more striking: Jesus was attacking the practice of animal sacrifice. "I came to abolish sacrifices," says the Ebionite Jesus, "and unless you cease sacrificing, my anger will not cease from you" (Panarion 30.16.5).”

Other Jewish and Christian groups generally regard it as non-canonical or non-inspired but may accept it as having some historical or theological interest. The books of “The Scriptures” by Institute of Scripture Research (ISR) which mention Enoch are:
- Genesis 5:18-24
- 1 Chronicles 1:3

DEAD SEA SCROLLS
“When these become members of the Community in Israel according to all these rules, they shall establish the spirit of holiness according to everlasting truth. They shall atone for guilty rebellion and for sins of unfaithfulness, that they may obtain loving-kindness for the Land without the flesh of holocausts and the fat of sacrifice. And prayer rightly offered shall be as an acceptable fragrance of righteousness, and perfection of way as a delectable free-will offering. At that time, the men of the Community shall set apart a House of Holiness in order that it may be united to the most holy things and a House of Community for Israel, for those who walk in perfection.
From The Community Rule:
When these become members of the Community in Israel according to all these rules, they shall establish the spirit of holiness according to everlasting truth. They shall atone for guilty rebellion and for sins of unfaithfulness, that they may obtain loving-kindness for the Land without the flesh of holocausts and the fat of sacrifice.
